QUALITY POLICY OF ASE OPTICS EUROPE WITH ITS SUPPLIERS

In order to ensure the quality of all our services, and in accordance with the quality processes designed for this purpose, ASE Optics Europe informs you that, as a supplier, you will be evaluated in terms of quality, following the following guidelines:

Incident log

  • Incidence: any issue affecting an order or contracted purchase, with a minor or slight impact on production activity, is considered an incidence.
  • ASE Optics will record any incident, whether it is an incident related to the delivery period (delay), condition of the product or packaging or similar.
  • In the case of accumulating more than 5 incidents in the course of 1 calendar year, the Quality department will analyze if it is pertinent to open a Non-Conformity as a supplier.

Non-conformity (NC)

  • NC: any incident or issue affecting an order or contracted purchase, with a medium or severe impact on the productive activity and with a negative effect on ASE Optics’ business.
  • Quality will inform you of the opening of the Nonconformity, sending you a form that must be answered in order to solve the NC.
  • If no response is received within 7 (calendar) days, Quality will consider the option to exclude you from its list of validated suppliers.
  • In the case of accumulating more than 5 NCs in the course of 1 calendar year, the Quality department will analyze if it is pertinent to exclude you from its list of validated suppliers.

Request for additional quality documentation

Depending on the type of purchase or characteristics of your services and products, Quality may require additional documentation and quality certificates.
