Prototyping & Manufacturing

Prototyping and Low range initial production series

Whatever the design challenge, ASE Optics Europe can help delivering technologies with mission-critical performance. We can achieve the stringent specifications required by the high-end applications of our customers. We have experience in the manufacturing and assembly of custom precision systems and equipment and our vendors are qualified, ensuring a rapid turnaround and high quality materials.

At the completion of a optical design, you own the design and have a number of choices. You can take advantage of ASE manufacturing experience for opto-mechanical system design, prototyping, testing, and final assembly.

  • Precision and critical optical assemblies
  • Reflective optical systems
  • Prototype systems
  • Low volume precision lens assemblies
  • Opto-mechanical assemblies

Test capabilities include characterization of radiometric properties, MTF, longitudinal and lateral aberrations, and lens centration. We have state-of-the-art equipment to perform both passive and active alignments. ASE provides certified testing and verification of our designs and fabricated parts to ensure meeting our customer’s specifications on every part every time.

Manufacturing

ASE Optics provides supply chain management to deliver quality components for your system. With our partners we can provide qualified and reliable service in custom optics, optomechanics and full system assemblies, from prototypes to low rate initial production (LRIP) to series manufacturing of components and systems.

Our manufacturing capabilities include, among other custom optics and lenses:

  • Imaging systems from NUV – VIS – SWIR – MWIR – LWIR
  • Microscope objectives
  • LIDAR
  • Unique optics enabled scientific instrumentation

At ASE Optics, we can take your custom optics and have them made, but also evaluate, optimize and prepare your components and systems for productions.
