News > International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology
22-27 September | Budapest
ASE Optics Europe attended to the 14th International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology, one of the most important international events organised with the aim to exhange information about fusion nuclear science and technology. During those days, scientist, engineers and experts interacted and exchanged impressions, opinions and knowledge about this interesting and challenging technology.
ISFNT-14 is one of the best opportunities to be up to date with the latest developments in this field. Also, is a unique place to establish new relations and international collaborations for the promotion of fusion energy development.
As a company actively participating to the ITER project development, ASE’s participation in ISFNT-14 was a gauge of our involvement in the world of fusion engineering. Our optical engineer, Dr. Paloma Matia, presented the poster
“Measurements of the angle-dependent reflectivity of plasma-facing components and assessment of the impact on the estimations of coverage of the IVVS measurements of the ITER VV.”
The event wasorganized by the Local Organising Committee of ISFNT and was held in Budapest Congress Center, Hungary.
