ASE Optics activities during Photonics West 2019

Another year, ASE Optics attended Photonics West 2019, the largest photonics technologies event worldwide. There, we met our colleagues, customers and partners, and we had the opportunity to share our experiences and acquired knowledge during 2018, concerning optical design and engineering projects, custom systems development, and laser integration systems for metrology and inspection.

Celebrating The Prism Awards with our colleagues

We had the pleasure to celebrate with our colleagues, 4D Technology Group, the 11st Edition of Prism Awards. They have been awarded in the Test and Measurment category. Congratulations!

Our CTO, Marta de la Fuente with her colleague, Dr. Joanna Schmit, principal Optical Engineer at 4D Technology. Both, Marta and Joanna, are also members of the Board of Directors of SPIE association.

Participation in SPIE Maria J. Yzuel Educator Award.

The same day, in Photonics West took place another important event: The SPIE Maria J. Yzuel Educator Award, presented in recognition of outstanding contributions to optics education by an SPIE instructor or an educator in the field.

As a members of SPIE, and a s a company specialized in optical design and engineering and laser technologies, ASE Optics is highly involved in optics and photonics sector, including all the activities related with education and promotion of optics technologies culture, benefits and knowledge. So for us it is an honor to be able to participate activetly in this activities.
